Transportation
A radiant section of a vertical cylindrical heater being transported to site. It is prefabricated in one module with all the coils, refractories, castings and burners installed. Each burner is in its own silenced wind box. This degree of prefabrication minimizes site erection time.
And erection.....a radiant section of a vertical cylindrical heater being erected at site. This one is prefabricated in one module with all coils, refractories and castings installed. This degree of modularization simplifies site work, and consequently reduces costs.
Segmented vs. Modularization:
When transportation regulations do not allow us to deliver the heater in modules, we can supply the radiant section in fully lined segments packed and braced for shipment. These segments are supplied with bolting planes for erection on site. The segments are then lifted into position by crane and bolted together. Once all the segments are bolted and the coils are installed, the radiant section can be seal welded if required. Large box and cabin heaters can be delivered in panels with radiant tubes and refractories installed for on-site erection.
